Tsatsayaku is a collective of 13 indigenous farming communities in the heart of the Ecuadorian Amazon. These communities are dedicated to preserving their heritage through chakra farming, which is a traditional agroforestry system that not only protects the rainforest but also nurtures the integrity of their rare heirloom cacao varieties. Known for its rich medicinal properties, this cacao is ideal for ceremonial use or as a nourishing addition to a daily wellness routine.

The past year has been particularly challenging for Tsatsayaku due to global market shifts. Many buyers have moved to cheaper, mass-produced cacao, which lacks the nutritional and spiritual value of true heirloom varieties. Despite these challenges, we are proud to stand with Tsatsayaku and their unwavering commitment to producing cacao that heals, uplifts, and honours ancestral traditions.
