Description

Strength: Mild

This traditional green rape of the Apurina tribe is created with Awiry, a plant of the Amazon that only appears during the dry season and grows in the riverbeds.  There is no ash and the leaves are not fermented like regular hapé, it is referred to as love or raw hapé.  The leaves are sun-dried before being crushed.  Apurina Awiri is a special mixture known as “Hapé of Light.” It has a floral fragrance and truly smells like you’re in the midst of a jungle.  Opening and yet beautifully subtle.

Instead of tobacco, this green Hapé contains a number of medicinal plants from the Amazon. It gives an ethereal feminine energy to meditation that is beautiful. It provides clarity, opens the senses, and might make your dreams more vivid. It’s wonderful to tune in to the forest’s softer energies.

The Apurina tribe, who resides in the southern Amazon, are the creators of this rapé, of which the recipe will remain a secret. The Apurina people gather the herbs in a sacred area of the forest that was given to them by their ancestors to preserve. In their tribe, the Hapé medicine is mostly used for meditation, while it is also used for hunting and to heighten perception.
